It’s finally football season and I am jonesin’ to see the Birds back on my screen. In honor of the 2027 Super Bowl Champs, we are kicking off the season with some cheesesteak sliders. I would argue that these are better than your favorite cheesesteak spot.

The trick is that we are going to do this the right way. From chopping the meat to the American cheese, these are as authentic as it gets. The best part about them is that we can use even the cheapest cuts of steak.

Top round, London broil, chuck, whatever you can find for the lowest cost? That’s what we’re rockin' with. Since we are cutting it as thin as humanly possible, the exact cut doesn't really matter. Of course ribeye would taste the best, but I promise you, if you follow this recipe to the T, it will be one of the best things you’ve eaten in a while regardless of cut.

So strap on your shoulder pads and grab some slider rolls and let's cook this shit.

Low-to-high U.S. estimate. Prices vary. Learn more here.
