My default dinner is taco meat. In some way, shape, or form. I’ve already shared with you my go-to recipe to make some simple taco meat, but there are lots of ways to doctor that up to make something better.
I was trying to think of a way to combine everything you like about Taco night into one pot so that you throw everything together, cook it, and boom, taco night in a bowl.
This is the perfect recipe to make on any weeknight, and it is one of the most cost-effective ones as well. Not only that, but it’s incredibly versatile. You can add black beans, jalapeño, chipotle peppers. Whatever your taste buds are craving, you can make this dish yours.
The further we get into this rough economy, the more important it is to have the ability to make a full meal for your family out of inexpensive ingredients. This is the best example of that.
It’s filling, practical, quick, easy, and straight-up delicious. Nobody’s ever left a good taco night with regrets other than eating too much. Well, it’s time that you learned how to do it all in one pan.
So grab your favorite taco seasoning, get a pan, and throw all the shit in there together. You won't believe how good it is.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup salsa or fresh chopped tomatoes
1 cup frozen corn
½ cup whole milk or heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar
½ small onion, diced
Optional: 1 tsp red pepper flakes (if you like spicy)
2 cloves garlic, minced
