How about a 99 cent monthly limited subscription? Love your recipes and your style!! Sounds sad to say I can't afford five dollars a month but... 😔

I really enjoy watching your videos the most so I save those. Rooting for your ongoing success!

If that was an option I would certainly consider it! Unfortunately Substack doesn’t offer that as far as I know, but I will keep my eyes open for some other opportunities for you to join! And no need to explain, times are tough and we’re in it together! Stay strong Liz 🫶

I love that 99c monthly limited subscription. What a great idea!

Great idea! The more the merrier & it’s a win-win really.

It’s the law of small numbers.

Exactly. Where you may get only two $5 dollar subscriptions, at $.99 you’ll most likely get several thousand.

I really enjoy your casual “this ain’t rocket science” approach. That and the fact that my anal accurate measurements of every ingredient is not all that necessary!

I found you about a month ago!!You have inspired me to start a Make-and-Freeze Monday. I did 4 loaves of your bread last week, and I’ll be making a double batch of your pasta sauce this week. I’m just cooking for two, and I love to have quick dinners the I can heat up from the freezer if I’m working a bit late, or for RV trips.

I’m already a fan. What’s the protocol here for sharing recipes? There are a few things I’ve developed over the years that have saved me tons of money at the store and have resulted in highly delicious meals. I’m more than happy to share, but I don’t want to step on any chef’s toes.

Desdichado's avatar

Same. It’s RC’s channel, so not trying to tell anyone what to do.

But is it okay to share ideas for subbing ingredients when the substitute is just as budget-friendly, i.e. sour cream or Greek yogurt instead of mayo? 🤔

Of COURSE it’s ok. We are all the 99% cooking club, let’s help each other out 🤝

I notice your Eagles gear . I live in Oregon , but grew up in Langhorne, PA

I love your style, your enthusiasm, and your inexpensive menus. And most importantly because of you - I believe I can cook!!

I found you on Tik Tok - and your content is immensely helpful for someone who grew up on the undesirable end of the economic scale, living off frozen dinners and ChefBoyArdee (lmao). I also never learned to cook, 80 hour work weeks and raising a child as a single parent, just the basics for us.

As an adult making an income that a few years ago would be a comfortable salary, now doesn’t even provide basic necessities, it’s like the Wild West out here.

Thank you for the great tips!

Just joined as a paid subscriber- You have made cooking for my family of 5 way less intimidating and I’m shocked at how affordable it can be. Appreciate your humor as well. Thank you!

That’s the goal ❤️

Agreed! I also appreciate the soundtrack, but that’s a personal preference and we all have our own🤣

Just for clarity, should anyone want to try this great ingredient: It's "purslane" if you want to Google it... 👍

You are correct about my huked on fonix typo, but people should avoid using google search engine , which is the colonoscope of life.

Shame!!! A few of us are searching for the recipes. Where are they? I’m starting to think this is a scam because it’s been over a month since I subscribed and still no recipes!

How do you get the written recipes?
