Fun fact, I actually got 11 burritos out of this recipe, but just in case you wanna pack yours a little heavier, I left it at 10 for $15.

My schedule is getting crazier and crazier. I’m sure many of you can relate whether you're juggling school pickups, kids' sports, multiple jobs, whatever your life calls for, we are all busy AF.

As a result, I’ve been leaning heavier into my roots, which is meal prep. A lot of you may not know, but before there was the 99% Cooking Club, before the Recession Chef, there was Steel’s Meals. I ran a successful meal prep company for over a year. My focus was simple, affordable meal prep that actually tasted good.

As someone in the fitness industry for nearly a decade, I have tried every meal prep company under the sun. The same things ring true for all of them: either they are healthy but too bland, or they are delicious but the macros suck. Nobody was ever able to find that middle ground of delicious, healthy AND affordable (until me… no big deal). But it taught me a lot on how to do this effectively.

Taste isn't in the price tag, it’s in how we prepare our ingredients. This recipe is indicative of all of my favorite things. Cheap ingredients, done well, high volume, low cost.

These burritos can be refrigerated for 3-5 days or frozen for UP TO 3 MONTHS! They are an easy lunch or dinner or a great post-gym meal to keep your energy up.
