One of my favorite things to do is revisit some of the classics. Food we ate throughout childhood brought to modern times. Not just because I’m a sucker for nostalgia, but so many of these recipes were focused on simple, affordable, easy weeknight dinners to feed the whole family.

They were also damn delicious. I don’t care who you are, creamy pasta hits every single time. Summer, winter, fall, spring, seasons be damned, I will never say no to a plate of pasta. The best part about this stroganoff is that it’s quick, but it tastes like it's been cooking all day long. Using some of our simple tricks, we enhance the flavors immensely to make this weeknight classic revamped for your grown-up taste buds.

I stress this alllll the time. Cheap, affordable cooking doesn’t have to taste cheap. Simple recipes don’t mean flavorless. We do the steps right, take our time, tend to our ingredients, and give just a lil effort, and the result is a dish you will eat again.

You can spend 2 hours on a recipe, but if it sucks, you’ll never eat it again. So to prove my point, take 30 minutes to make this simple stroganoff the right way, and show yourself how much flavor you’re capable of packing into one bite.
